The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council deploys work tasks in 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of February 1, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation (NAD) and the City People's Council (People's Council) held a conference to summarize the work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024; Rewarding groups and individuals; Launching emulation and signing an emulation contract in 2024.

In 2023, the collective of officials, civil servants, and employees of the Office continues to affirm that it is a united and unified group. Advisory and service work continues to be innovated, established and there have been many clear and effective changes in the activities of the National Assembly Delegation, Standing Committee of the People's Council, and Committees of the City People's Council; especially proactively advised and successfully organized 04 sessions of the City People's Council, served the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation to attend 05 sessions of the National Assembly and thematic monitoring activities, regular supervision, contact with voters, and collect opinions to participate in the National Assembly and City People's Council sessions.

Promoting the achieved results, in 2024, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council propose 16 directions and tasks in Party building and professional work. Among them, the key task is to continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolutions of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee; Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo, strictly implement Regulation No. 37 dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Party Central Committee on what party members cannot do... along with a number of other important tasks.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Bui Duc Quang proposed that in the coming time, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council maintain the tradition of solidarity, attachment, and maintaining working principles; promote democracy, fight against self-criticism and criticism in party activities; attach importance to the work of fostering and developing new party members; continue to promote the implementation of patriotic emulation movements associated with professional tasks and service work, determined to comprehensively complete assigned tasks, and at the same time have specific and practical solutions to improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of agency officials and civil servants.
