(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of October 7, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee organized a Ceremony to award Party Badges for the September 2, 2026, batch to Party members belonging to the Party Committee of the City People's Committee. Comrade Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Committee, presided over the awarding ceremony.
In this batch, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee awarded 35-year Party Badges to 4 comrades and 30-year Party Badges to 2 comrades.
Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Comrade Do Thanh Trung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee, emphasized that the Party Badge is a noble reward from the Party, recognizing the persistent efforts, training, and contributions of Party members. Each Party Badge not only marks the number of years of Party membership but, more importantly, acknowledges a journey of attachment, growth, and dedication of each comrade to the Party, to the agency, unit, and the People.
For the 6 comrades awarded Party Badges today, during their work, they have held various positions and roles; some comrades were former leaders and managers of the city and are currently holding leadership positions in agencies and units; in each position, with different requirements and tasks, the comrades have all demonstrated a spirit of responsibility, organizational discipline, dedication to work, and maintained the qualities and courage of a Party member; they have made certain contributions to the construction of agencies and units and to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security of the city.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee respectfully acknowledges and highly appreciates the contributions of the comrades throughout their work, efforts, and dedication. These results are not only reflected in their positions and roles but, more importantly, in their spirit of responsibility, prestige, exemplary conduct, and the results of their work for the agency and unit. The Party Badges received by the comrades today are both a source of honor and pride for each comrade and their family; at the same time, they are also a joy for the Party committees and Party organizations where the comrades work and for the Party Committee of the City People's Committee.
The Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that Hai Phong city is entering a new development phase with increasingly high demands for governance quality, executive capacity, administrative reform, digital transformation, scientific and technological development, innovation, and improving the quality of service to the People and businesses. On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, he requested that the comrades awarded Party Badges today continue to promote their experience and capabilities, uphold their political courage; demonstrate a spirit of responsibility, proactively advise, and, together with the collective of Party committees and leaders of agencies and units, direct and implement tasks to achieve good and excellent results; dare to think, dare to act, dare to take responsibility for the common good, contributing to the city's completion of socio-economic development targets and tasks for 2026 and subsequent years.
