The People's Committee of the city has just issued Plan 199/KH-UBND to organize the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Accordingly, the city agreed to select 9 key works and projects to hold the Groundbreaking and Inauguration Ceremony to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Among them, 03 Bridge Points have registered with the Ministry of Construction to organize jointly with the whole country including:
The inauguration ceremony of the May Chai Bridge construction project and the path on both sides of the bridge, invested by Vingroup - Joint Stock Company (Main Bridge Point), was held in the area on the May Chai Bridge;
The groundbreaking ceremony of Passenger Terminal T2 Project - Cat Bi International Airport, invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation - Joint Stock Company (ACV), was held at Cat Bi International Airport area, Hai An ward;
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Resettlement Area of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Project, organized by the Hai Phong Transport and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, was held in Duong Kinh ward.
Along with that, 03 Bridge Points were proactively organized by the city at the same time as the above Bridge Points, including the Groundbreaking Ceremony of projects: Highway 37 Bypass (the section connecting Thong Nhat Bridge/National Highway 37 with Ring Road I); Bridge over Thai Binh River and access road of Ring Road I; Martyrs' Temple and Cultural Park, held in Tan Hung ward (west of the city);
The groundbreaking ceremony of the project to build a traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh bridge and the inauguration ceremony of the Dong Viet bridge access road project connecting National Highway 37, held in Nguyen Dai Nang ward (west of the city);
Inauguration ceremony of phase II of Hai Duong Obstetrics Hospital Project (Inpatient treatment and general services block), held on the campus of Hai Duong Obstetrics Hospital, Le Thanh Nghi ward.
The city's plan requires that the organization of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of key works and projects must take place solemnly, economically, effectively, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Selected works and projects must fully meet legal conditions and have practical political, economic and social significance for the locality and region.
The City People's Committee clearly assigns responsibilities to each relevant agency and unit, ensuring progress, quality and implementation efficiency, thereby creating an important mark, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, promoting the image and arousing pride in the city./.
