The City Party Committee Conference discussed and commented on the draft Document submitted to the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of August 15, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee convened the City Party Committee Conference to discuss and give opinions on the draft Document submitted to the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation chaired the Conference.

Co-chairing the conference were comrades: Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee.

At the Conference were representatives of the Central Party Construction Committees; Comrades of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Member of the City Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and units.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the development of a draft document to be submitted to the City Party Congress for the term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, after many times of consulting, editing and supplementing, the 8th draft of the Political Report of the City Party Executive Committee has been completed and continues to seek opinions from former city leaders over time; Comrades of the City Party Committee; Leading the city's sectors to perfection.

At the conference, leaders of departments and branches contributed many opinions on the main indicator system for the period 2025 - 2030 such as: GRDP growth rate; IIP industrial production development index; export; budget revenue and expenditure; rate of striving for budget spending on development investment and regular expenditure by 2030; on investment in the whole society; Attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic direct investment (DDI)...

Leaders of departments and branches also proposed tasks and solutions for implementation. In particular, there is a high focus on completing adjustments to the general planning; urban and rural planning; establish Free Trade Zones, Specialized Economic Zones, Northern Economic Zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, Lach Huyen and southern Do Son ports; completing transport and urban infrastructure; develop commodity agriculture, clean agriculture, high technology; tourism and service development; environmental protection; science and technology development; training high-quality human resources... At the same time, analyze and clarify the challenges, pressures as well as opportunities, potential, and development space of the city in the period 2025 - 2030; demonstrating determination to successfully implement the targets and tasks set by the congress's resolutions.

Speaking at the conference's conclusion, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau acknowledged and appreciated the enthusiastic opinions and responsibilities of leaders of departments and branches with the draft document submitted to the City Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term; affirming that this is an important basis to ensure that the congress documents meet the city's development requirements in the coming period.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee stated clearly that the opinions at the conference were quite specific and clear, especially clearly pointing out the key tasks, solutions, and methods of each sector to achieve the set targets at a high level, worthy of Hai Phong city's position as the third largest in the country.
