(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of February 1, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee solemnly organized a meeting to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), launched the book History of Hai Phong City Party Committee - Volume IV, period 2001 - 2020 and awarded the Party Badge for the period of February 3, 2024.

At the program, City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau gave a speech reviewing the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024). In 2023, despite many difficulties, following the tradition of the Port City and the City Party Committee, Hai Phong continues to develop strongly. On the occasion of the 94th Anniversary of the Party's founding, the City Party Committee's Standing Committee has decided to award and posthumously award the Party Badge for February 3, 2024 to 1,877 party members of 24 Party Committees. Among them, 19 party members received the 75-year Party membership badge; 7 party members received the 70-year Party badge; 46 party members received the 65-year Party membership badge; 210 party members received the 69-year Party membership badge; 402 party members received the 55-year Party membership badge; 239 party members received the 50-year Party badge; 209 party members received the 45-year Party membership badge; 412 party members received the 40-year Party membership badge; 333 party members received the 30-year Party membership badge.

In the city's history in general, the history of the Hai Phong Party Committee in the period 2001-2020 in particular has a special mark: For the first time in the history of construction and development of the city, the Politburo issued 02 Resolutions orienting the development of Hai Phong city. That is Resolution No. 32 dated August 5, 2003 on "Building and developing Hai Phong city in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country" and Resolution No. 45 dated January 24, 2019 on "Building and developing Hai Phong city until 2030, vision to 2045". The City Party Secretary emphasized that 2024 is the fourth year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 16th City Party Congress as well as the high goals set out in Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
