(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and preparing to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year, on the morning of January 30, the delegation of leaders of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city led by comrade Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly delegation led the delegation to offer incense to commemorate the fallen heroes at the city's Heroic Martyrs Memorial.
Participating in the delegation were comrades: Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Comrades, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the People's Council, City People's Committee, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation.
At the City's Heroic Martyrs' Memorial, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates held a moment of silence, remembering the heroic spirits of the Martyrs and Heroes - the outstanding sons of the nation who spared no blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the People. Before the heroic spirits of the heroic martyrs, the city delegates prayed to follow in the footsteps of the previous generation of their fathers, make efforts to overcome all difficulties, strive to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, and contribute to building an increasingly strong, civilized, and beautiful city of Hai Phong.
