On the afternoon of October 2, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan inspected the implementation of the investment project to build a road from Provincial Road 354, Tien Lang District, to National Highway 10, Vinh Bao District (after merging, Tien Lang and Vinh Thuan communes); The disbursement progress of public investment capital in 2025 is in charge of the Tien Lang Area Project Management Board, along with the operation of local authorities at 02 levels. Also attending were representatives of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.
The project was approved by the City People's Council in Resolution No. 62/NQ-HDND dated October 19, 2022, and approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 889/QD-UBND dated April 5, 2023, with a total investment of more than 1,382 billion VND. The site clearance work involves nearly 30 hectares of land, over 800 households and organizations, at a cost of more than 302 billion VND. To date, the contractor consortium has constructed many important items, in which the value of implementing some main bidding packages reached over 89% of the contract value.
According to the report of the Tien Lang Area Project Management Board, the total public investment capital plan assigned in 2025 is 992.8 billion VND/56 projects. Of which, the expected disbursement value for site clearance work is 102.36 billion VND. Cumulative disbursement value as of September 30, 2025 is 595,809 billion VND, reaching 60% of the 2025 capital plan (of which site clearance costs are 49,431 billion VND).
Through a field inspection, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of localities and relevant units in implementing the project in the new context after the merger of two levels of government. He emphasized that this is an important traffic route, opening up connection from Highway 10 to the city center and industrial parks in Tien Lang and Vinh Bao areas, creating motivation for socio-economic development, attracting investment, improving people's lives and strengthening local defense and security. The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested localities to urgently complete site clearance work, and the Project Management Board to calculate maximum disbursement plans, speed up construction progress, and soon put the project into operation. At the same time, request departments and branchesCoordinate closely, promptly remove difficulties, ensure progress and investment efficiency.
The Permanent Vice Chairman also recognized and highly appreciated the initial results in operating the 2-level local government model; At the same time, he emphasized the need to continue improving the operational efficiency of the Public Administrative Service Center, enhancing the reception and processing of online documents, to better meet the needs of people and businesses./.
