The People's Committee of Hai Phong city has just issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The plan was implemented to affirm the position, great stature and great historical value of the August Revolution in the nation's struggle to build and defend the country; At the same time, he emphasized the correct and wise leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland. Thereby, continuing to honor the country's great and historically significant achievements in 80 years of building and developing socialist Vietnam.
Through commemorative activities, Hai Phong city aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all classes of people; At the same time, it arouses the spirit of patriotism, national pride, historical traditions, the spirit of great solidarity, the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant. Accordingly, in this phase, the city will organize information and propaganda activities; Visual decorations and decorative lights on downtown streets during the holidays. At the same time, city leaders visited a number of former city leaders through different periods; Visit and give gifts to a number of policy beneficiaries and people with outstanding contributions; Attended the Opening Ceremony of "Exhibition of the country's achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city); Incense offering ceremony to commemorate fallen heroes at the City Martyrs' Monument and the Monument of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh - Viet-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace;
