In the first quarter of 2025, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council successfully organized the 23rd and 24th Meetings (Thematic Sessions) of the City People's Council. At the Meetings, 18 Resolutions were considered and passed, important and urgent, serving the requirements of streamlining the apparatus, allocating public investment capital, and promptly responding to urgent tasks serving the city's socio-economic development. In March, the City People's Council continued to implement a thematic monitoring plan on the implementation of policies and laws on education and training in Hai Phong city, period 2020 - 2024; Direct the implementation of supervision and field survey activities at educational establishments and some districts.

The Standing Committee of the City People's Council has directed the City People's Council Committees to issue a thematic supervision plan on a number of contents related to the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong city in the period of 2023 - 2025; issued a decision to establish a thematic supervision team on the allocation and use of support funds to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster of storm No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024.
