Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Vu Dai Thang hoped that during his term of office, investment promotion representatives abroad will be an important bridge to promote and strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and other countries, support investors in the area in charge of providing information, understanding the environment and investment policies in Vietnam, contributing to the country's deeper integration. At the same time, support localities in organizing investment promotion activities as well as promoting Vietnam's potential and strengths to people, businesses, and investors in host countries.
To fulfill their roles and responsibilities well, each Vietnamese investment promotion representative abroad continues to mobilize collective intelligence and conduct research on the socio-economic situation of the host country; Actively seek opportunities, contact and mobilize investors from the host country to invest in Vietnam; Proactively coordinate with relevant agencies in attracting and mobilizing official development assistance (ODA), preferential loans and foreign non-refundable aid for Vietnam, in accordance with the strategy, planning and orientation of attracting ODA and preferential loans; act as a focal point to support and provide information on ODA; Guide and support Vietnamese businesses and individuals investing in other countrieslocal country;... Thereby, contributing to the growing development of Vietnam's investment promotion activities abroad.
