Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh inspected the coastal road project passing through the city. Hai Phong follows the form of public-private partnership PPP.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Also during a working visit to Hai Phong, on the afternoon of January 25, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh and leaders of a number of ministries and central branches inspected the coastal road project passing through Hai Phong city and 9km in Thai Binh province in the form of PPP public-private partnership; Investment and construction project to expand the coastal road section through Hai Phong city from Provincial Road 353 to Thai Binh bridge, using state budget capital; and inspect the Aircraft Parking Expansion Project, investment preparations to build passenger terminal No. 2 (T2) at Cat Bi airport with a design capacity of 5 million passengers/year.
Inspecting the coastal road project passing through Hai Phong city, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh stated that currently the project has been fully handed over in terms of site, materials, as well as enough capital, so there is absolutely a basis to shorten the implementation schedule.

City leaders, contractors, consulting and construction units shook hands and committed to the Deputy Prime Minister to complete the entire route and put it into use in 2022.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the city to direct contractors to urgently remove some problems, mobilize vehicles and human resources, and organize construction in 2 consecutive shifts to shorten the progress from 15 months to about 9 months. We must make determined efforts to complete and put the project into use in 2022, the Deputy Prime Minister requested.
Currently, the project is being urgently constructed, about 33% of the work volume has been completed, including soft soil treatment, excavation, road embankment, macadam grading, cross-road culverts, Lach Throat bridge, DH.212 bridge.

Inspecting the Airplane Park Expansion Project and the investment preparations to build passenger terminal No. 2, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh requested to urgently deploy Passenger Terminal No. 2, striving to start construction of the project in the first quarter of 2022, and complete the project and put it into use after 24 months of construction.
