(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Speed up compensation and site clearance work to serve the implementation of construction items to ensure the project is completed on schedule. This is one of the city's key projects with the scale of new construction of Lai Xuan bridge across Da Bach river with a bridge length of over 840m, main bridge width and access bridge 12m wide; reinforced concrete structures and permanent prestressed reinforced concrete; Build a road leading to both ends of the bridge with a length of nearly 1,560m and carry out renovation and expansion of Provincial Road 352 and 600m of Provincial Road 352 (old), the cross-section of the roadbed is 12m wide, including 2 motor vehicle lanes, 2 mixed lanes, safety strips, median strips...

According to the report of Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, up to this point, regarding the construction of Lai Xuan bridge and the road leading to both ends of the bridge, contractors have completed 79/130 bored piles, are constructing at 6/16 abutment and pillar locations, constructing cantilever beams... estimated volume is about 40% of the contract value. For the renovation and expansion of Provincial Road 352, contractors are focusing on expanding the road and drainage system, estimated to be about 20% of the contract value.

Regarding site clearance work, the current problem is the area of about 9,800 square meters of land that needs to be recovered from Xuan Nguyen Prison to serve the construction of Lai Xuan bridge and the entire ground area for construction of 6 pillars and abutments related to 46 households in Yen Duc commune, Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh. Regarding site clearance work to renovate and expand Urban Area 352, there are 50 residential land households and 02 agricultural land households that have not received compensation or support; 38 households with land on the traffic corridor have not yet handed over...

Emphasizing the direction at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho required contractors to focus more heavily on the construction and expansion of DT.352 because this is the lifeline of Thuy Nguyen district. It is necessary to accelerate the construction progress of each section and route that has been cleared to ensure quality and technical requirements; strive to complete 2-layer plastic carpet for the entire section of DT.352 on the occasion of the anniversary of Hai Phong's Liberation Day May 13, 2024 and complete the technical opening of bridges and culverts on the route in August 2024. The Vice Chairman assigned the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to proactively coordinate with Dong Trieu Town People's Committee to promote site clearance work in Quang Ninh territory, to urgently deploy the construction of bridge piers and abutments.and the path leading to Lai Xuan bridge. Along with that, work directly with Xuan Nguyen Prison to have a site for early construction of bridge piers and abutments in Hai Phong area. The Vice Chairman also noted that contractors during the construction process need to comply with regulations on environmental sanitation and traffic safety, have plans to regulate traffic flow appropriately, and limit local traffic congestion.
