(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of February 20, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam and representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities inspected the progress of the construction investment project of Hai Phong College of Industry (phase 1) in My Duc commune, An Lao district.

The investment project to build Hai Phong College of Industry (phase 1) is invested by the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Urban Infrastructure, Economic Zones and Industrial Parks. The project has a construction scale on an area of about 7.4 hectares, including synchronous construction items that meet the standards of a high-quality vocational college, with an enrollment scale of about 2,000 students/trainees/year. Including: administrative building, lecture hall, basic science department, information technology and pedagogy department, economics department, electrical and electronics department (including 2 units), mechanical engineering department, automobile technology department, construction department (including 02 units), dormitory and cafeteria, library.
The project starts construction on January 3, 2023, the planned implementation time is 540 days. To date, contractors Viet Uc Group Joint Stock Company and Tan Loc Construction Joint Stock Company have implemented 75 - 85% of the contract value. The administrative building and specialized departments have completed the rough construction and plastering work, focusing on finishing parts such as cladding, paving, door installation, sanitary equipment, indoor electrical equipment... For the traffic part, the contractor has completed the construction of base layer B and is preparing to construct base layer A. For the auxiliary lane (expansion lane of provincial road 354), the contractor has begun to peel off the organic layer. The rainwater drainage, wastewater and water supply systems have been basically completed. The outdoor lines and transformer stations are currently completed up to 75% of the contract value.
In the coming time, the construction contractor consortium will focus on completing construction of project items before March 31, 2024. In April 2024, acceptance will be held to complete the project and submit it to the Department of Construction for inspection. Strive to inaugurate and hand over the project into use on the occasion of the 69th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 2024).
>After the actual inspection of the project, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam acknowledged that the Investor and contractors highly focused on the project, initially ensuring the proposed quality, technique, and aesthetics. To complete the project before the assigned deadline, it is recommended that units continue to increase human resources, machinery, and equipment for construction of housing areas and connecting traffic routes. During the construction process, fire and explosion prevention, labor safety and hygiene, and environmental hygiene must be ensured.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the An Lao District People's Committee to direct the District Police to pay attention to strengthening security and order, ensuring safety in the area around the project. The Industrial College has a plan to move equipment, tables and chairs that are still valid for use, transport and install them to the new facility. Relevant sectors are requested to coordinate closely so that when the project is completed, invest in equipment to meet the school's teaching needs.
