Hai Phong 1&2 Thermal Power Plant located in Tam Hung commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city has a capacity of 4x300MW, total investment of more than 1.2 billion USD equivalent to about 24,000MW, producing 7.2 billion kWh of electricity per year, providing a large amount of electricity to the National grid, generating revenue of about 9,000 billion VND and contributing to the local budget and The government spends over 400 billion VND in annual tax revenue. 8 water treatment plants in Hai Phong with a total capacity of 380,000 m3/day can serve all kinds of needs with water quality meeting WHO standards. Furthermore, in each rural district, there are small water treatment plants that meet all local needs.
