(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On March 28, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Economic Magazine – VnEconomy – Vietnam Economic Times and Hai Phong City People's Committee jointly organized the Press Conference of the program "Vietnam Connect Forum 2024 (Vietnam Connect Forum)" and honored the 23rd Golden Dragon Awards. Co-chairing the Press Conference were: Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Nhu Hieu; General Secretary of the Vietnam Economic Review Dao Quang Binh and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City Hoang Minh Cuong.

Vietnam Connect Forum is an annual, national-scale international connection event co-chaired and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnam Economic Magazine - VnEconomy - Vietnam Economic Times. The Forum's central goal is to improve connection efficiency and enhance investment and trade cooperation opportunities between localities, international partners and the business community. At the same time, support the promotion of local Vietnamese businesses to integrate and participate deeply in the global value chain.
Co-chairing the Press Conference were: Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Nhu Hieu; Secretary General of Vietnam Economic Review Dao Quang Binh and Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong.
After 3 successful organizations in Hanoi (2021), Ho Chi Minh City (2022), Da Nang (2023), Vietnam Connect Forum 2024 (4th time) will be held in Hai Phong city, a growth pole of the northern key economic triangle.

The forum will have the participation of 25 Northern provinces and cities along with representatives of Ministries, Central Committees, International Organizations, Business Associations, economic experts along with more than 200 FDI enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises. The theme of this year's Forum is: “Vietnam moving towards a green, sustainable economy” from government strategies and policies to local initiatives and solutions and businesses.

Also within the framework of the Forum, the Organizing Committee will announce the Top 10 and Top 50 outstanding FDI enterprises in 2023 receiving the honor of the 23rd Golden Dragon Awards. The Forum will be held at the Hai Phong City Convention Center on April 10, 2024./.
