The Hai Phong area alone collected 26,982.96 billion VND, reaching 48.2% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (55,930 billion); reached 45.89% of the target assigned by the General Department of Customs (58,800 billion VND); reaching 44.97% of the target assigned by the City People's Committee (60,000 billion VND), an increase of 3,496.04 billion VND compared to the same period in 2021.
Also according to the report of the Customs Department, the total import-export turnover of goods in May 2022 reached about 9,906 million USD, an increase of 11.6% over the same period in 2021. Of which, export turnover reached 4,563.27 million USD, an increase of 11.1% over the same period in 2021; Export turnover with tax reached 40.42 million USD, an increase of 45.2% over the same period in 2021.
Import turnover reached 5,342.47 million USD, an increase of 11.9% over the same period in 2021; Import turnover with tax reached 2,444.58 million USD, an increase of 32.3% over the same period in 2021.
In terms of each specific product, import turnover of cars, motorbikes, motorbike spare parts, gasoline, iron and steel, cosmetics, machinery and equipment increased compared to the same period in 2021. Automobile products reached 104.81 million USD, an increase of 9.3%; Motorcycle products reached 0.79 million USD, an increase of 148.8%; Motorcycle spare parts and components reached 2.1 million USD, an increase of 11%; Petroleum products reached 132.76 million USD, an increase of 74.5%; Iron and steel products reached 376.05 million USD, an increase of 48.6%; Cosmetic products reached 0.73 million USD, up 4%; machinery and equipment products reached 1,704.97 million USD, an increase of 5%.
Taxed import turnover of automobiles, motorbikes, motorbike spare parts, gasoline, iron and steel, cosmetics, machinery and equipment all increased compared to the same period in 2021. Specifically, automobile products reached 102.43 million USD, an increase of 7.2%; Motorcycle products reached 0.79 million USD, an increase of 149.7%; Motorcycle spare parts reached 2.04 million USD, up 9%; Petroleum products reached 131.56 million USD, an increase of 76.2%; Iron and steel products reached 317.07 million USD, an increase of 57.8%; Cosmetic products reached 0.72 million USD, up 3.5%; machinery and equipment products reached 519.87 million USD, an increase of 37.9%.
In the opposite direction, import turnover includes taxes on auto parts and components; Beer and alcohol decreased compared to the same period in 2021. Of which, auto parts and components reached 41.86 million USD, down 43.9%; Beer and alcohol products reached 1.66 million USD, down 54.7%...
