The Prime Minister has just approved the investment policy of the Program "Improving the quality of public expenditure" funded by ADB.
The specific goal is to help the Government improve Vietnam's public financial management system through effectively allocating public financial resources; Strengthen capacity to identify and manage fiscal risks; and improve supervision, monitoring and evaluation of public spending.
The total cost of the Program is 200 million USD, funded by ADB, of which concessional loan from the Asian Development Fund (ADF) is 117.3 million USD, ordinary loan capital (OCR) is 82.7 million USD.
The Ministry of Finance is the managing agency of the Program. Implementing agencies include: Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly and State Audit are responsible for implementing policy actions under the Policy Matrix according to the scope of their functions and tasks.
