(Haiphong.gov.vn) - After 1/2 day of urgent work, with a high sense of responsibility, the 14th session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, completed the proposed program contents and was a great success.

At the meeting, the City People's Council reviewed the Proposals of the City People's Committee and the Verification Reports of the City People's Council Committees. The City People's Council delegates expressed high agreement with the contents presented at the meeting; Emphasizing the important significance of the projects, bringing high economic efficiency, contributing to attracting investment, improving transportation capacity, urban beautification, and local socio-economic development and hoping that the projects will be implemented soon, ensuring progress, meeting the expectations of voters and people of the city.

The City People's Council voted and unanimously approved 12 Resolutions that are important for socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security of the city, promptly meeting the aspirations of voters and the City's People: (1) Plan to use bonus resources exceeding the revenue estimate divided between the Central budget and local budget and reinvest according to a specific mechanism in 2022. (2) Adjustment of state budget revenue settlement. in the area; finalization of local budget revenues and expenditures in 2022. (3) Give opinions on promulgating a list of fields and areas with socialization incentives and regulations on exemption and reduction of land rent for establishments implementing socialization of land use in urban areas in Hai Phong city. (4) HProvide financial support for the construction of inspection and supervision stations on rivers and bays under the Border Guard Command of Hai Phong port. (5) Adjust and supplement the list of investment projects requiring land recovery; State budget capital expected to be allocated for compensation and site clearance in the city in 2024. (6) Hai Phong city urban development program, orientation to 2040, vision to 2050. (7) Investment policy Investment project to build roads behind ports No. 3 to No. 6, Lach Huyen port area. (8) Provide comments on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the Hai Phong City Development Project to adapt to climate change. (9) Investment policy Project to build barracks and anchorage and shelter for ships and boats of the People's Fleetstanding army. (10) Adding the number of people working and adjusting the number of labor contracts receiving salaries from the state budget in the public preschool and general education unit in the city in 2024.

Along with that, there are 2 Resolutions on human resources work under the authority of the City People's Council. Accordingly, the position of Member of the City People's Committee term XVI, term 2021 - 2026 is dismissed for comrades: Do Van Binh, Nguyen Hoang Long, Nguyen Minh Quang and Bui Hung Thien.

Additional election for the position of Member of the City People's Committee term XVI, term 2021 - 2026 with the results of comrades: Pham Tuyen Duong, Director of the Department of Justice; Tran Huy Kien, Chief of Office of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Cao Lan, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Bui Xuan Thang, Commander of the City Military Command; Bui Thi Hong Van, Chief Inspector of the city, was elected to the position of Member of the City People's Committee term XVI, term 2021 - 2026.

In order for the Resolutions to be implemented effectively, in the closing speech of the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap requested that, immediately after the meeting, the City People's Committee urgently direct the development and implementation of an implementation plan, in accordance with the urgent nature of the Resolutions just passed by the City People's Council, ensuring efficiency, savings, and compliance with regulations. The City People's Council Standing Committee, City People's Council Committees, Delegate Groups and City People's Council delegates focus on closely monitoring the implementation process to ensure serious, complete and correct implementation of the Resolutions of the City People's Council.
