On the morning of October 3, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh chaired a working session with the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District on the implementation of the 2017 Theme, Socio-economic Development Plan and State budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2018.
Participating in the work were representatives of leaders of the City's Boards, Departments and branches.

Implementing the city's 2017 Theme, in the first 9 months of the year, Ngo Quyen district highly focused on managing state budget revenues and expenditures, regularly inspecting and reviewing the management of revenue sources, resolutely preventing revenue loss and handling tax arrears... thereby recovering over VND 44,000 million in outstanding debts, ensuring the assigned estimate. The district also focuses heavily on site clearance work to serve key projects and works of the city; continue to promote the implementation of administrative procedure reform, create conditions for businesses to improve production and business efficiency, solve problems, support businesses in economic development... Urban and land management, construction order management, environmental sanitation, traffic safety, sidewalk order... are given drastic attention and direction.
Determining 2018 as an important year in striving to complete the goals of the 5-year socio-economic development plan (2016 - 2020), Ngo Quyen district set a number of key targets to implement such as: industrial production value in the district increased by 6%; Accommodation and food service revenue increased by 14.7%; State budget revenue increased by 8%; Development investment spending in the area increased by 20 - 30%; creating jobs for over 6,000 people...Continue to strengthen revenue management, prevent revenue loss and handle tax arrears, speed up site clearance progress, urban development, cultural and human development, ensure social security, and sustainable poverty reduction; Promote administrative reform, focusing on building "Electrical Government"."Ngo Quyen District"; actively prevent and combat corruption, maintain political security, social order and safety...
Concluding remarks at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh recognized and appreciated Ngo Quyen district for striving to complete many tasks at the highest level, achieving many comprehensive achievements in all aspects, making important contributions to the overall development of the city.
