This afternoon (October 5), a working delegation of the Japan Trade Promotion Organization (Jetro) consisting of Japanese enterprises from China and Hong Kong came to Hai Phong city to visit and learn about the investment environment and had a working session with the People's Committee of Hai Phong city.
Jetro came to Hai Phong city with the purpose of understanding the environment investment, favorable conditions and development situation economics - society as well as the city's potential to help serve as a bridge to invite investors Japanese investors and enterprises invest in Hai Phong.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Mr. Le Tri Vu, Director of Hai Phong City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, briefly introduced to Jetro's delegation about the potential, factors, economic - political advantages, current status and development of regionally linked infrastructure of Hai Phong city. Providing information and data on population, labor resources, infrastructure, logistics activities, foreign investment situation, import-export turnover, investment incentive policies in economic zones... for Jetro to create favorable conditions for Japanese investors when they want to promote investment and trade in Hai Phong city.
Talking with Jetro, representatives of departments, branches, and industrial parks enthusiastically shared information and answered related questions about investment in the city. Jetro also wishes to propose to Hai Phong city to organize monthly meetings between the city and Japanese enterprises in Hai Phong.
It can be affirmed that Hai Phong currently has high quality human resources, meeting the requirements of investors. Besides, Hai Phong is also the only locality in Northern Vietnam that converges all 5 types of transportation: road, railway, sea, inland waterway and air..., with a deep-water seaport and international airport. These are favorable conditions for foreign investors to invest and do business in Hai Phong.
