Investment project to build technical infrastructure in North Cam River New Urban Area: Striving to start construction in early 2017

On the afternoon of October 6, Comrade Le Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council received and worked with the working delegation of Xuan Thanh Group led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Chairman of the Group, on implementing the technical infrastructure investment project of the new urban area North of Cam River. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Bich, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Representatives of leaders of relevant industries, localities and units.

The investment project to build technical infrastructure in North Song Cam new urban area has a scale of 324 hectares in Duong Quan, Tan Duong, Hoa Dong communes (Thuy Nguyen district) and Minh Khai ward (Hong Bang district). The project has a total investment of more than 9,899 billion VND, with 4 main investment items: construction of Hoang Van Thu bridge; Cam River dyke and embankment system; Main transportation system and technical infrastructure system to serve the entire Northern Cam River area. According to the proposal of the Urban Development Construction Management Board - the project investor, among the above items, two items are main traffic construction and technical infrastructure projects invested in the form of BT by Xuan Thanh Group with a total investment of more than 6,612 billion VND; The city uses a land fund of 230.9 hectares to reimburse businesses.

Through the field survey and listening to the report of the Urban Development Construction Management Board, clarifying a number of contents related to the project implementation process, Group Chairman Nguyen Xuan Thanh thanked the city leaders for their attention, and expressed their determination to work together with the city to build a civilized, modern urban area worthy of international standards.

Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council Le Van Thanh thanked the group's leaders for their interest in choosing Hai Phong as an investment destination. He affirmed that the city will create conditions for the project to be implemented most smoothly. Accordingly, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the Management Board of urban development construction projects to concentrate highly and complete procedures to start construction of Hoang Van Thu bridge at the end of this year. It is recommended that Xuan Thanh Group and other sectors develop a plan to calculate land prices and total land fund, ensuring harmony of interests of all parties, striving to start the project in early 2017.
