Discussed with Deputy Minister Vu Dai Thang about contents and solutions to develop high-quality human resources. Governor Kiyoshi Ueda said that a number of Saitama enterprises have successfully deployed graduate students and engineers from Vietnam to work and learn skills in management, business, and production at the enterprise... At the same time, after a period of training, these human resources have been able to work well and take on some management positions in new projects deployed by Saitama enterprises in Vietnam; or at other projects of Vietnamese enterprises.
Governor Kiyoshi Ueda also informed Deputy Minister Vu Dai Thang that to date, there have been 120 Saitama enterprises investing in Vietnam, an increase of 48 enterprises compared to 2017. This is a signal that Saitama enterprises highly appreciate the investment environment in Vietnam.
In addition, Governor Kiyoshi Ueda thanked the Ministry of Planning and Investment for always supporting Saitama businesses to do business effectively in Vietnam; as well as creating conditions for the Saitama Desk department to well implement activities to support Japanese businesses.
Agreeing with the sharing from Governor Kiyoshi Ueda, Deputy Minister Vu Dai Thang hopes that more and more businesses in Saitama province will be interested in investing in Vietnam. In particular, besides exchange activities, the Saitama provincial government and Vietnam also need to continue to strengthen cooperation in investment, production and business, and human resource development.
Agree on solutions to enhance cooperation in developing high-quality human resources; through creating conditions for Vietnamese graduate students and engineers to work at Saitama businesses. Deputy Minister Vu Dai Thang said that this is a good and highly effective way. The Deputy Minister also said that in the coming time, the Ministry of Planning and Investment will coordinate closely with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, localities and universities to realize the above idea.
Saitama is the province with the 5th largest economic scale out of 47 provinces and cities in Japan, and is a large market for trade and investment cooperation with Vietnam. Saitama Enterprises always appreciates and has expectations for Vietnam's potential market and said it will continue to research and deploy more projects in Vietnam in the coming time./.
