(Haiphong.gov.vn) - Within the framework of the Techfest Hai Phong 2024 event series, on the afternoon of April 15, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with the Government of Cheongju city, Chungbuk province and Chungbuk Technology Park, Korea to organize a Conference to connect investment in innovative businesses in Vietnam and Korea. The conference featured presentations by innovative businesses in Hai Phong and Korea and 1:1 investment connections between startups and businesses of the two countries. This is an opportunity to connect investment funds with Vietnamese and Korean startups to seek investment agreements to help develop markets and grow in both countries. Connecting a network of domestic and foreign investors and investment funds helps Hai Phong's innovative startups develop sustainably and build the next generation of entrepreneurs. Thereby, effectively implementing the Government's Project "Supporting the national innovation startup ecosystem until 2025" (Project 844), promoting the development of the innovation startup ecosystem in the city.

The conference was organized with the goal of connecting investment funds with Vietnamese and Korean startups to seek investment agreements to help develop the market and grow in both Vietnam and Korea./.
