(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of March 27, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong city organized a survey on the situation of law enforcement in digital technology industry activities at Viettel Hai Phong - Branch of Hai Phong Military Industry and Telecommunication Group (VNPT). Participating in comments on the draft Law on Digital Technology Industry, Viettel Hai Phong representative said: It is necessary to develop standards and regulations on the use of digital technology, as well as support businesses and organizations in applying digital technology solutions. Including regulations on the deployment of 5G, 6G networks, data centers, cloud computing and other telecommunications infrastructure; Ensure compatibility and connectivity between different infrastructures. Add tax, credit and land incentives for businesses investing in digital technology infrastructure, and have a public-private partnership mechanism to promote the construction of digital technology infrastructure.
Viettel Hai Phong leaders proposed to the city to speed up the progress of digital infrastructure deployment.
In addition, add policies to encourage the use of information technology solutions in fields such as education, health, and e-government. Specifically, policies to support investment and upgrade high-speed internet infrastructure, especially in remote areas, to ensure stable internet access for medical and educational facilities. At the same time, additional content related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) products imported from abroad is added.

Also contributing to the draft Law, the representative of VNPT Hai Phong had opinions on the interpretation of terms in Clauses 5 and 12, Article 14 regarding the definition of "software", which are different, requesting competent authorities to study and amend to ensure consistency. Regarding Clauses 2 and 3, Article 24 (Draft) stipulates that "Digital technology training activities in educational and training establishments enjoy special investment incentives" and "The State supports digital technology human resource development activities...", it is recommended to have specific regulations and instructions on the level and form of "incentives" and "support".
