Within the framework of the Investment Promotion Conference held in Japan, under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, […]

According to the agreement, DEEP C Industrial Park Complex will join Bamboo Capital Group and Sojitz Group to develop industrial park projects and rooftop solar power systems as well as infrastructure services for industrial parks in the North of Vietnam.
DEEP C is a complex of industrial park and seaport development projects implemented by Infra Asia Investment Hong Kong (IAI), a Hong Kong company whose main shareholder is Ackermans van Haaren Group (Belgium), in Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh province, the most dynamic developing area in northern Vietnam. Over 24 years of operation, DEEP C has attracted more than 140 secondary investment projects in industries and logistics services, with a total registered investment capital of 4 billion USD. DEEP C is currently operating 5 industrial park projects covering an area of nearly 3,400 hectares, with synchronous infrastructure and reliable utility services.
Bamboo Capital (BCG) is a multi-industry corporation in Vietnam, with strengths in the field of renewable energy. Currently, BCG Energy owns more than 500MW of solar power capacity and aims to reach 1.5GW power generation capacity by 2023.

The third partner cooperating with DEEP C and BCG is Sojitz Group (Japan), one of Japan's largest multi-industry corporations, listed on the list of 2,000 largest companies in the world voted by Forbes. Sojitz specializes in operating in the fields of automobiles, machinery and equipment manufacturing; metals, energy; chemicals and trading in industrial park infrastructure and the fields of agriculture-forestry-fishery and consumer goods... Sojitz is also one of the first Japanese enterprises to invest in the Vietnamese market since 1986 and is the first foreign independent power producer with the Phu My 3 Power Plant project in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. In addition, Sojitz has invested in industrial park infrastructure, afforestation, and wood production and trading in Vietnam.
The three-party cooperation agreement between DEEP C, BCG, and Sojitz will help the parties take advantage of each other's strengths, jointly develop industrial park projects and supporting infrastructure services, including rooftop solar power systems, and research other clean energy sources and electricity storage solutions, ensuring clean and stable power supply for the Industrial Park Complex operated by DEEP C.
Both DEEP C, BCG and Sojitz aim to build the first industrial park in Vietnam that is not dependent on the national power grid through improving production and increasing the use of renewable energy. This project not only brings economic value to DEEP C, BCG and Sojitz but also contributes to the goal of reducing emissions, moving towards carbon neutrality and sustainable development of Vietnam in the future./.
