(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 31, the National Assembly delegation of Hai Phong city surveyed the law enforcement situation in marine economic development at Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Port Co., Ltd. (Tan Cang Saigon Joint Stock Corporation). Comrade La Thanh Tan, Deputy Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation chaired the survey. At the meeting, representatives of leaders of Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Port Co., Ltd. requested the Survey Team to soon make recommendations and propose that the authorities soon apply the port management model to improve the efficiency of management, investment, and exploitation of each wharf and seaport cluster; Establishing and approving detailed plans for dumping alluvial waste so that ports can proactively dredge every year, ensuring the reception of large ships for cargo handling; Expand Lach Huyen channel so that 2 ships larger than 8,500 TEU can enter and exit at the same time; Build Tan Vu 2 bridge and road system connecting to Lach Huyen area to synchronously and effectively exploit ports No. 3, 4, 5, 6 when they come into operation in the near future.
