Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam, thanked the leaders of Hai Phong city for the welcome and said the purpose of the visit, working to further promote closer relations between Singapore and Hai Phong city. The Ambassador said that Vietnam and Singapore have established bilateral diplomatic relations and upgraded their bilateral relationship to a Strategic Partnership. Developing business and trade connection activities between Vietnam and Singapore in recent years has actively contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two sides.
