On the afternoon of March 13, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Chuong inspected the implementation status of the investment project to build and upgrade the Mang Nuoc route from the foot of Binh Bridge connecting to Road 359 and the investment project to build a resettlement area to serve site clearance. According to the report of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district, regarding the investment project to build and upgrade Mang Nuoc road: the total land recovery area of the project is: 125,242.1m² (3.8km long). By the end of February 2019, 44,000m² of 399 households had been inventoried, the remaining 84,000m² of 390 households was being inventoried, and 33.86% of the area was handed over to the construction contractor. The value of completed construction volume is equivalent to 18% of the contract value. Currently, the Investor is conducting detailed distribution for the project's bidding packages according to the 2019 public investment capital plan.
About the investment project to build resettlement areas to serve land clearance, invest in synchronous new construction, complete technical completion of 2 resettlement areas with a total area of 125,481.42m² to serve land clearance. The project, currently, has inventoried and prepared plans for 300 households, and is completing procedures to pay compensation for land clearance to the remaining households; Construction drawing design documents and estimates are being evaluated at the Department of Construction and submitted for approval according to regulations.

Through field inspection and listening to reports from the parties, Vice Chairman Nguyen Dinh Chuan commented that Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee is currently having to mobilize large resources to implement city projects, but needs to concentrate highly to soon complete this key project.
Accordingly, Vice Chairman Nguyen Dinh Chuyen directed: Thuy Nguyen district People's Committee needs to speed up land clearance inventory work, by the end of April there will be a decision to approve the city's specific land price; Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee coordinates with the Department of Finance and the Department of Finance to approve compensation plans, ensuring disbursement progress; Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee directs communes to proactively manage the current status of land areas on both sides of the road after inventorying land clearance; It is recommended that units focus heavily on calculating land prices to ensure compliance with regulations.
