Urgently complete site clearance work and hand over clean site to construction contractors in March 2019, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized such instructions at a meeting with relevant functional branches and localities to check the progress of the investment project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Lang Am bridge to Nhan Muc bridge, on the afternoon of March 14.
According to the report of the Department of Transport, up to this point, the Land Clearance Compensation Council has completed the inventory and preparation of plans for 1,227/1,227 households and organizations (reaching 100%), including: 320/320 agricultural land households with an area of 32,740.9 m2; 900/900 residential land households and 07 organizations. Currently, 883/900 households have received money, including 867/900 households handing over the site to the construction contractor... On the old National Highway 37, the contractor has accessed 100% of the site; On the new route, 181 households have dismantled and handed over the premises, there are still 04 households that have not received money and handed over the premises...
Regarding the construction progress, the contractor representative said that currently, the construction work on the old Highway 37 has completed 7.5 km of asphalt concrete, basically completed the sidewalk and greenery items, striving to complete the traffic safety items and 5cm smooth asphalt concrete carpet before April 30, 2019. For the new route, 6/7.56 km of the roadbed has been completed; 2.1 km of crushed stone foundation, currently under construction of foundation, road surface, K98 red soil layer... The contractor requests Vinh Bao district and the Project Management Board of the Transportation Works area to urgently hand over clean ground for construction in March 2019.
Through field inspection at the site and listening to reports at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh recognized and highly appreciated the functional departments and branches along with the locality, project management board, and contractors for showing responsibility in coordinating to accelerate the progress of the project. In particular, the Vice Chairman praised the contractor for proactively ensuring labor safety and traffic safety on the construction site during the construction process, not affecting people's lives, environment and safety, especially before, during and after the Lunar New Year.
Regarding site clearance work, the Vice Chairman expressed appreciation for the Department of Finance for promptly arranging funds to disburse for the project. The Vice Chairman requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently consider the proposed resettlement land price and report to the city, and at the same time notify the people; assigned the City People's Committee Office to inspect, monitor and urge implementation.
In order for the project to be guaranteed according to the proposed schedule, the Standing Vice Chairman requested that Vinh Bao district continue to strengthen advocacy and propaganda work for households, for some households that have received money and have land handover records, in case of necessity, the district coordinates with the authorities responsible for protecting the construction work.
