In the first 9 months of 2017, the Ministry of Planning and Investment carried out 03 administrative inspections, of which 01 inspection conclusion was issued, and is currently completing 01 report and inspection conclusion on the management and use of assets, finance, enrollment, recruitment, management, and use of officials and workers. Compliance with legal regulations on complaints, denunciations, citizen reception, prevention and combat of corruption, practicing thrift, combating waste and emulation and reward work in the 2014-2016 period at 01 unit.
Specialized Inspection work, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has completed and issued 08 Inspection Conclusions; Proposal to recover through inspection a total amount of 207,693,060,692 VND.
Through the violations discovered during the inspection work, the Ministry has proposed to the competent state management agency, the Investor, the Project Management Board, and relevant agencies to direct relevant groups and individuals to review and learn from experience in performing their responsibilities and tasks, take corrective measures, and overcome errors in management, administration, project implementation, and seriously implement the content in the Conclusions. inspector.
For the Statistics Industry, 268 inspections have been carried out, of which the General Statistics Office carried out 08 inspections and the Statistics Departments carried out 258 inspections. The main field of inspection is implementing investigation plans (2017 Economic Census plan; Monthly industrial survey plan; Investigating prices of raw materials and fuels used for production;...) and inspections implementing the basic statistical reporting regime.
In resolving complaints and denunciations, the Ministry has received 48 complaints, of which 03 are within its authority and 45 are not within its authority. The applications have been processed promptly or transferred to the appropriate agency for resolution. Through the work of resolving complaints and denunciations, no cases related to corruption have been detected and handled.
Regarding promoting the role of society and international cooperation on anti-corruption, the Ministry has coordinated with international organizations to strengthen post-inspection of ODA and NGO programs and projects to minimize negativity and corruption arising. Organize international seminars and conferences to consult with donors to continue harmonizing processes and procedures with donors, contributing to improving the efficiency of ODA capital management and implementing anti-corruption.
Through the activities of Party organizations, Trade Unions, and Youth Unions, thematic talks, political learning sessions, campaigns, competitions... have been integrated to propagate and disseminate the unit's anti-corruption work.
At the same time, through the media and press units of the Ministry such as: Investment Newspaper, Bidding Newspaper, Economic and Forecast Magazine, Informatics Center (Electronic information portal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment),... increase articles and post related news on anti-corruption and waste in areas that easily give rise to complaints and denunciations such as: investment, bidding, businesses; Post the content of inspection and examination conclusions carried out by the Ministry Inspectorate and a number of units./.
