In recent times, many shipping companies have opened routes from Hai Phong to the West Coast of the United States. However, to meet customer needs and the growth in the amount of goods exported to the US market, MSC shipping line launched a service route from Hai Phong directly to the East Coast of the United States. TC-HICT Port, with its experience, modern facilities and technology, is always the top choice of shipping lines in operating trans-oceanic service routes by large tonnage ships.
The MSC HONG KONG ship has a carrying capacity of 5,000 Teu, a tonnage of 67,600DWT, and a length of 294m, operating on the Santana service to TC-HICT weekly, going straight through the Panama Strait to the East Coast of the United States with the route Hai Phong-Shanghai-Ningbo-Charleston-New York-Hai Phong.
MSC is the second largest shipping company in the world, operating 617 container ships with a total carrying capacity of 4,137,493 Teu. The shipping line is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and has branches in over 155 countries with an extensive shipping service network connecting to 315 ports worldwide.
