Visit and work at Pegatron Vietnam Project Phase 2 at Lot CN 3B, Deep C 2A Industrial Park. The project has a current total investment capital of 500 million USD, with a total land area of 346,330 m2. At the meeting, the Company expressed its hope that the city would support and create conditions for recruiting local labor sources, as well as creating conditions for recruiting workers from other provinces; create conditions to support the completion of utility connections and infrastructure of the area as well as support the completion of leveling the land so that the Company can soon begin construction of the dormitory area.

After inspecting the field and listening to reports, speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the City Party Committee, thanked businesses for choosing Hai Phong as a destination for investment and development. At the same time, we recognize and appreciate the efforts of businesses in implementing projects at a fast pace; Businesses have plans to make long-term, sustainable investments in the city such as: building dormitories for workers, building research and development centers and accepting to face competition.
The City Party Secretary affirmed that city leaders as well as people consider the success of businesses to contribute to the overall success of Hai Phong city, therefore, resolving difficulties and problems requires cooperation between the two sides. The most important thing in attracting investment, production and business is the labor source, and the current situation we are facing is the competition for labor resources between localities as well as within businesses themselves. With the responsibility of the city, it will invest in infrastructure and improve people's lives to attract workers to live and work in Hai Phong. However, deciding to attract workers to work at those businesses is a matter of concernThe salary, allowances, regime, conditions, and culture of the business are decisive in attracting workers, so businesses must have calculations to solve the problem more thoroughly and sustainably. Regarding vocational training, the city will take steps to find labor sources, but businesses also need to participate and coordinate with the city in providing information and supporting vocational training for workers.
Regarding the proposal to move Dinh Vu landfill, the City Party Secretary said that in the immediate future there will be another landfill to reduce the load on this landfill, but in the future there will be a high-tech garbage treatment plant in this area, ensuring environmental conditions. Regarding the installation of traffic lights, separation of container trucks and buses on the road leading to Deep C industrial park, and construction of technical infrastructure for dormitories, he assigned the City People's Committee and Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board to direct relevant units to coordinate implementation.
