The report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also shows that, by the end of October, the total export value of agriculture, forestry and fishery products reached 26.4 billion USD, an increase of 6.3% over the same period in 2015.

According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ha Cong Tuan: From now until the end of the year, in the field of livestock production, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development determines that it will continue to focus on directing localities, businesses and seed establishments to have solutions to increase production activities, supplying enough breed demand for production; Control the price of livestock breeds, ensure market stability to promote livestock production to meet the demand for food consumption in the domestic market in the last months of the year, especially during the New Year and Lunar New Year and for export.

For fisheries, the Ministry will continue to coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to develop and implement a master plan to restore production and stabilize life in 4 North Central provinces affected by marine environmental incidents.

At the same time, promote inspection and supervision of the quality of brackish water shrimp and pangasius breeds in the Mekong Delta provinces, and tilapia quality in the Northern provinces to ensure enough supply of high quality breeds for farmers, sharply increasing the source of raw shrimp in the last months of the year in a favorable market context; Inspect and monitor quality management activities of food, biological products, microorganisms, chemicals and minerals used in aquaculture.

In processing and trade, the Ministry determined to promote research and propose solutions and policy mechanisms to expand the market and promote the export of key products that need to be focused on implementation in the first quarter and the whole year of 2017.../.
