According to Mr. Kuei Chun Chi, Director of Production Services of USI Group, large-scale investment in a production facility in Southeast Asia helps the company get closer and meet the growing needs of foreign customers. Hai Phong is a locality with a strategic geographical location as well as complete infrastructure, which will bring flexible and timely solutions to USI in fulfilling customer orders. In addition, tax incentives in the economic zone as well as competitive labor costs give the company important advantages in international competition. Mr. Kuei Chun Chi affirmed that the USI Dinh Vu factory will become a key component in the roadmap to increase production capacity on a large scale.demand. USI expects to become a key manufacturer in Hai Phong's rising electronics manufacturing industry through the formation of a new production center contributing to the development of the electronics supply chain. USI plans to increase investment capital to 400 million USD in the next phase.
USI will produce electronic circuit boards of wearable devices (watches, phones, headphones) to supply to the world's leading electronic brands. The factory has a scale of 65,000m², total investment capital of 200 million USD, production capacity of up to 14 million products equivalent to 57.6 tons annually. It is expected that the factory will be officially put into operation in the third quarter of 2021. Once put into operation, it will create jobs for about 2,000 workers.
