In the first 11 months of 2015, Japan ranked 3rd after South Korea and Malaysia with 281 new projects and 129 projects increased capital, with a total investment capital of 1.72 billion USD.
According to statistics of the Department of Foreign Investment in the first 11 months of 2015, Vietnam had 1,855 new projects with a total registered capital of 13.55 billion USD, and 692 projects with increased capital, with a total additional registered capital of 6.66 billion USD, total in 11 months foreign investment capital in Vietnam was 20.22 billion USD. In which, Japan ranked third after Korea and Malaysia with 281 new projects and 129 capital increase projects, with a total investment capital in 11 months of 1.72 billion USD.
The manufacturing and processing industry sector receives the most investment from Japanese enterprises with 99 new projects and 77 capital increase projects with a total registered capital of 922.9 million USD (accounting for 53.5% of total investment capital), ranked second is the construction sector with 8 new level projects and 1 capital increase project with a total capital of 355.9 million USD (accounting for 20.6% of total investment capital). Ranked third is the real estate business with a total investment capital of 146.84 million USD (accounting for 8.5% of total investment capital). The remainder belongs to other industries.
Japanese investors have invested in Vietnam in the following forms: 100% foreign capital with 233 new projects and 115 capital increase projects with a total capital of 1.3 billion USD, accounting for 75.6% of total investment capital, ranked second is the form of BOT contract with 1 project but the capital is 343.65 million USD, accounting for nearly 20% of total investment capital, joint venture form. With 46 new projects and 13 capital increase projects with a capital of 74.84 million USD, accounting for 4.3% of total investment capital, the form of business cooperation contract accounts for at least 1.8 million USD of capital, accounting for 0.1% of total investment capital in the first 11 months of 2015.
In the first 11 months of 2015, Japan invested in 32/63 provinces and cities nationwide. Of which, Quang Ninh attracted the most investment capital from Japan in 11 months with a total posted capital of 343.65 million USD (accounting for 20% of total investment capital). Ranked second is Ba Ria - Vung Tau with a total investment capital of 169.8 million USD (accounting for 9.8% of total investment capital). Ho Chi Minh City ranked 3rd with a total capital of 146.4 million USD (accounting for 8.5% of total investment capital). The rest are other localities.

– Project to CONSTRUCTION OF BACH DANG BRIDGE, PATHWAY AND ROUTE END INTERSECTION IN BOT FORM, the project is invested in Quang Ninh province with a total Japanese investment capital of 343.64 million USD.
– Project NITORI BA RIA-VUNG TAU CO., LTD. This project invests in Industrial Park - Ba Ria - Vung Tau with a total investment capital of 150 million USD.
– HIGH-TECH RABBIT ANIMAL PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING project with a total investment capital of 78.6 million USD invested in Yen Bai province.
– THANG LONG VINH PHUC INDUSTRIAL PARK project with total investment capital of 70.1 million USD.
