Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh emphasized that the investment project to build technical infrastructure in the new urban area North of Cam River is an important project for the city's socio-economic development, so the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee consider this a key project that focuses resources and direction for implementation. The Vice Chairman acknowledged and evaluated that Thuy Nguyen district, the project management board and the contractors initially had quite good coordination in implementation. The Vice Chairman suggested that in the coming time, Thuy Nguyen district and related departments and branches need to focus on doing a good job of site clearance, and that contractors urgently mobilize vehicles and machinery to organize construction as quickly as possible, and at the same time.Hao affirmed that the city will only advance capital to contractors who actively carry out construction on the construction site.
The Vice Chairman required the Project Management Board and contractors to regularly communicate progress, and any problems beyond the authority of the Management Board should be promptly reported to the City People's Committee. Assign the City People's Committee Office to coordinate with the Project Management Board to compile a list of each contractor, each bidding package, and build a critical progress path for the City People's Committee to specifically monitor.
According to the report of the Project Management Board, the investment project to build technical infrastructure in the North Cam River Urban Area includes 15 bidding packages. Up to this point, Thuy Nguyen district has been actively promoting site clearance work, inventorying, approving compensation support plans... currently, nearly 100 hectares of land outside the riverbank and agricultural land have been handed over. The Management Board has also temporarily handed over some land areas to the construction unit, and at the same time requested contractors to make plans to implement construction right on the construction site, increasing machinery, materials and equipment for simultaneous construction...
