The Standing Committee of the City People's Council implements key tasks in March 2025

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of March 5, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council held a meeting in February 2025 to evaluate the results of implementing tasks in February and identify key tasks for March 2025. Comrade Pham Van Lap, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the meeting. Also attending were comrades: Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; leaders of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the city's People's Council committees.

In February 2025, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the City People's Council Committees actively implemented and completed key tasks as planned, with a high focus on the 23rd thematic meeting of the City People's Council with many contents related to the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus in the political system in accordance with the direction and guidance of the Central Government. Supervision activities in 2025 will be gradually implemented according to plan and combined with the verification work of the City People's Council Committees. The Work Program and Monitoring Program for 2025 were issued, which is the basis for promptly detecting problems, difficulties, and inadequacies to recommend and propose solutions to remove and overcome, helping to evaluate accurately, objectively, and promptly.Organizing and implementing resolutions, programs and plans in accordance with reality and meeting the needs and aspirations of voters.

Regarding the key tasks in March 2025, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap proposed to continue implementing the City People's Council's thematic supervision plan on the implementation of policies and laws on education and training in Hai Phong city, period 2020 - 2024; Direct the implementation of supervision and field survey activities at educational establishments and some districts; Implement monitoring activities early and focus on resolving voters' recommendations. The City People's Council Committees, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council advise on organizing the 2024 Summary Conference and deploying the emulation movement of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the Standing Committee of the People's Council of districts; Advise on resolving issues arising between two meetings; activitiesReceiving citizens, resolving applications, complaints and denunciations from citizens.
