(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 15, comrade Pham Van Lap, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the Joint Conference on organizing the 25th (thematic) session of the City People's Council, term XVI.

The 25th session (thematic) of the City People's Council is expected to consider and decide on a number of contents, such as: Approving the policy of arranging provincial and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong city; Funding support for implementing a number of expenditure tasks in the field of defense and security in 2025; Decide on the policy of converting forests to other purposes to implement the project of investment in construction and infrastructure business of Hai Phong International Gateway Port Industrial Park; Adjust the list of projects and works to change the use purpose of rice cultivation land, protective forest land, and production forests in the city in 2025; Tasks of the General Planning to build Hai Phong Southern Coastal Economic Zone and the list of public service services using state budget in the fieldculture, family, physical education, sports, information, journalism, publishing and tourism in the city.

After listening to the opinions of relevant Departments, committees and branches, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap stated clearly that this is an urgent meeting, which must be completed before April 30, 2025 according to the direction of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee, including important content through the policy of arranging provincial and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong city. Regarding the time to organize the meeting, the Chairman of the City People's Council agreed to hold it on the afternoon of April 28, 2025. Regarding the contents submitted to the Meeting, it was agreed to submit 6 contents to the City People's Council, with the content "Abolish Resolution No. 01/2025 of the City People's Council on the policy of additional support for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers under the city's management in implementing the organizational arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units of the political system in Hai Phong city."If the drafting agency prepares it in time, it will submit it at this Meeting, otherwise it will move to the nearest meeting.
