(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The City Department of Transport has just announced the construction of a project to renovate sidewalks on downtown roads, with the scale of repaving sidewalks with natural stone and granite, and undergrounding electrical, telecommunications, and lighting works.

Construction site, including routes: Tran Phu, Nguyen Duc Canh, Quang Trung, Tran Hung Dao, Hoang Van Thu, Dinh Tien Hoang.

Accordingly, from November 20, 2020 to December 30, 2020: construction will begin on Hoang Van Thu street.

From January 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021: implementation of construction on routes: Tran Phu, Nguyen Duc Canh, Quang Trung, Tran Hung Dao, Dinh Tien Hoang.

The Department of Transport requests city departments, agencies and branches to coordinate and support the Investor and contractors, coordinate regulation to ensure traffic during project implementation. People's Committees of districts direct local authorities to notify and mobilize people to create open spaces for construction units to ensure progress and quality. If there are related works within the scope of construction, it is necessary to proactively coordinate with the Department of Transport for synchronous construction.

Information, telecommunications, and cable television units coordinated with VNPT Hai Phong to install underground installations into VNPT Hai Phong's existing sewer system. VNPT, on its part, is responsible for renovating the unit's existing underground system to meet the technical requirements for underground cables of information, telecommunications and cable television businesses.

Time to complete underground work on Hoang Van Thu street before November 20, 2020; at Tran Phu, Nguyen Duc Canh, Quang Trung, Tran Hung Dao, Dinh Tien Hoang streets before December 30, 2020.
