Strengthen the cooperative relationship between Panama and Hai Phong city

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of May 5, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung received and paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Elogio Salas III, Panamanian Ambassador to Vietnam. At the meeting, Mr. Elogio Salas III, Ambassador of Panama to Vietnam, thanked Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung for the respectful welcome. The Ambassador expressed his joy about the city's socio-economic development, especially the success in COVID-19 prevention and control in recent times; At the same time, thank Hai Phong city for donating 50 thousand medical masks to accompany the people of Panama in the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic. The Ambassador hopes that the friendly and cooperative relationship between Panama and Vietnam in general, and between Panama and Hai Phong in particular, will increasingly develop comprehensively and deeply.
