(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of May 1, the People's Committee of Do Son district solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the investment project to build a road from the coastal road (Km1+00) to Van Bun intersection (Ly Thai To street) in Do Son district. Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Dao Khanh Ha - Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Committee; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam; Vice Chairman of People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho; together with representatives of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.

The route from the coastal road (Km1+00) to Van Bun intersection (Ly Thai To street), has a length of 6.2km, uses 24 hectares of land (including 5 hectares of current traffic land and recovery of 19 hectares of rice and aquaculture land), with a total investment from the city budget of more than 832.6 billion VND, implementation period from 2019 to 2019. 2023. Of which, the new construction investment section is 3.38 km, divided into 3 sections: section 1 is 1.1km long, roadbed width 50.5m; Section 2 is 1.3km long, roadbed width 59m, with 10 lanes; Section 3 is 0.98km long, roadbed width is 34m, with 6 lanes. The upgraded section according to the current scale has a length of 2.82km and a roadbed width of 20.5m. Both sections have soft pavement structure, high grade A1. On the route, invest in building 2 bridges. Infrastructure systemTechniques such as intersections, water supply systems, rainwater drainage, wastewater, technical trenches, low voltage electricity, lighting, sidewalks, trees... are deployed synchronously.

The final section of the route, which coincides with the western road of Do Son, has been completed and put into use for a long time, because the scale of the currently invested route is not consistent with the approved planning to connect traffic with the coastal road, Do Son tourist area and does not meet the needs of traffic infrastructure with the Van Huong luxury villa village construction investment project (DASO), Hon Dau international tourist area project, and the construction investment project of Van Huong luxury villa village (DASO), Hon Dau international tourist area project, and construction investment project. Units ready to execute the project
When the project is completed, it will create an economic - technical - urban corridor in the Northwest - Southeast direction connecting Do Son tourist area with the city center and creating conditions for the western wards of Do Son district to restructure towards urbanization, creating momentum for the development of commercial, service, and tourism activities and attracting capital from investors into residential land, business production, and tourism services in accordance with the content. The master plan orientation for socio-economic development of Do Son district to 2020, vision to 2025 was approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 518/QD-UBND dated March 14, 2013.

Comrade Hoang Xuan Minh - Chairman of Do Son District People's Committee said: in order to implement the project, in recent times, Do Son District People's Committee has focused, proactively and actively coordinated closely with departments, branches and cities to complete the project's procedures: approving construction drawing designs and construction estimates, selecting construction contractors, and implementing site clearance work. The district has approved the compensation plan for site clearance in Ngoc Xuyen ward (with a site clearance area of 5 hectares). Up to now, project implementation procedures have been completed, the construction ground has been guaranteed, and is eligible for project implementation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho acknowledged, appreciated and praised the efforts, initiative and positivity of the People's Committee of Do Son district and the close coordination of the city's departments and branches in the process of project investment preparation.
In order for the project to be completed on schedule, ensuring safety and quality, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Do Son District to focus on directing and managing the implementation of construction according to current regulations of the law, ensuring environmental hygiene, security, order, and minimizing the impact on the lives and activities of people in the Project area. During project implementation, the district needs to closely coordinate with relevant sectors and units to carry out basic construction procedures according to regulations, organize management, and closely supervise construction, ensuring progress, safety and quality of the project.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requires design consultants, supervision consultants, and construction contractors to strictly comply with the provisions of law during the project implementation process, concentrate all the best resources, and comply with the commitments in the signed contract to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality, technique, and safety in construction.
It is recommended that relevant Departments and branches proactively coordinate closely and guide Do Son District People's Committee to resolve difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process according to regulations and authority. In case of exceeding authority, promptly propose and report to the City People's Committee for direction.
