(Haiphong.gov.vn) - The Standing Committee of the City People's Council has a Decision on convening the 14th session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council (term 2021 - 2026).
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the City People's Council decided to convene the delegates of the City People's Council to attend the 14th Session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council (term 2021 - 2026).
– Time: 1/2 day, from 08:00 March 22, 2024 (Friday).
– Location: City Convention Center.
The Committees of the City People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council, the City People's Council Delegation Group and the City People's Council delegates are responsible for implementing this Decision.

The 14th session (thematic session) will consider and give opinions on the following contents: Plans to use bonus resources exceeding the estimated revenue divided between the Central budget and local budget and reinvest according to a special mechanism in 2022; Adjusting the settlement of state budget revenues in the area; Final settlement of local budget revenues and expenditures in 2022; List, exemption and reduction of land rent for establishments implementing socialization in Hai Phong city; Support funding to build inspection and supervision stations on rivers and bays under the Border Guard Command of Hai Phong port; Adjust and supplement the list of investment projects requiring land recovery; State budget capital expected to be allocated for compensation and site clearance in the city in 2024.
The meeting will also consider and give opinions on: Hai Phong city urban development program, orientation to 2040, vision to 2050; Investment policy Investment project to build roads behind Ports No. 3 to No. 6, Lach Huyen port area; Provide comments on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the Hai Phong City Development Project to adapt to climate change; Investment policy Project to build barracks and anchorage and shelter for ships and boats of the permanent militia squadron; Supplementing non-business payrolls with salaries from the state budget and adjusting the number of labor contracts in educational non-business units in the city in 2024; Dismissal and additional election of City People's Committee members.
