(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The City People's Committee has just issued a Decision approving the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 10, the section from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge with the Urban Development and Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board as the Investor.

The project belongs to a level II traffic project, the total investment of the project is more than 1,220 billion VND from the city's budget. Implementation time: 2020 – 2022.

The project has a scale of renovating, upgrading and expanding Highway 10 from Da Bac bridge to Kien bridge with a length of 12.9km (not including the length from the center of Kien bridge to the end of the 780m long path and the length of the center of Da Bac bridge to the end of the 420m long path) according to the scale of a level III plain road, 4 lanes, roadbed width of 24.5m (section). through residential areas, roadbed width is 28.5m), design speed is 80km/h.

New construction of 01 unit next to the old bridge for Hang Luong bridge, Gia bridge and Trinh Xa bridge with width B=12m. The bridge is designed with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, design load HL93.

Build 02 resettlement areas, including: Resettlement area in Kien Bai commune with an area of ​​4.22 hectares including 224 resettlement lots and Resettlement area in Luu Kiem commune with an area of ​​4.05 hectares including 196 resettlement lots.

The project, when completed, will meet traffic needs, reduce traffic congestion and accidents, create conditions for socio-economic development, and ensure national security and defense. At the same time, ensuring the role of exploiting routes such as Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, Quang Ninh - Hai Phong expressway, National Highway 37, National Highway 5...
