Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho chaired the meeting with relevant departments, branches, localities and units.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 19, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho inspected the implementation progress of the investment project to expand and upgrade Road 363 (section through Hoa Binh canal, from provincial road 353 to provincial road 361) in Kien Thuy district and the investment project to build a road from the coastal road to Van intersection. The investment project to expand and upgrade Road 363 is invested by Kien Thuy District People's Committee, with a total cost of nearly 567 billion VND. The scale includes building nearly 5.3 km of road according to level 3 plain road standards, roadbed width of 33m, 6 lanes, and technical infrastructure on the route. The total land area for construction is nearly 200,000 m2 related to Kien Thuy district and Duong Kinh district.

City leaders requested Kien Thuy and Duong Kinh districts to continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree and hand over the site.
To date, Kien Thuy district has cleared 99% of the agricultural land area; There are 3 organizations and 12 households with residential land and defense land. Duong Kinh district has cleared 100% of the land and 2/8 residential land households have received compensation.
Regarding construction, up to now the project has completed 40% of the volume. Directing the progress of this project, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho requested Kien Thuy and Duong Kinh districts to continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree and hand over the site to the Investor; At the same time, we request the Investor to coordinate with the Departments of Industry and Trade and related units to move electricity and water works on the route.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also asked contractors to focus on human resources and vehicles to speed up project construction progress, ensuring labor safety and traffic safety on the route.

The investment project to build a road from the coastal road to Van Bun intersection, Do Son district, according to the report of the District People's Committee, up to now, the project has completed the selection of contractors for 15 bidding packages; 7/15 bidding packages have been implemented. Currently, Do Son district is focusing on site clearance with a total area of 16.77 hectares of 372 households and 9 organizations in 3 wards of Ngoc Xuyen, Van Huong, and Minh Duc. To date, 96 households and 2 organizations have been cleared, reaching 59.2%.

The project to build a road from the coastal road to Van Bun intersection in Do Son district has a route length of 6.2 km.
Through inspection and listening to reports at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho requested Do Son district to focus heavily on construction work on the area that has been handed over; Along with that, continue to accelerate the progress of project clearance, complete the construction of the resettlement area in May 2022, review the work related to the adjustment of investment policies, ensuring accuracy.
