To drastically implement and continue to create stronger changes in the business environment and improve competitiveness in the city, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city issued Plan No. 28/KH-UBND dated February 6, 2024 on main tasks and solutions to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness in 2024.
The goal of the Plan is to strongly improve the quality of Hai Phong city's business environment to suit the context and development trends, in order to contribute to improving the country's position on international rankings. Create a healthy competitive environment, rapidly increase the number of newly established businesses; reduce the rate of businesses temporarily suspending operations; increase the number of businesses with innovation, green transformation, and digital transformation activities; Reduce input costs and legal compliance costs in investment and business activities; reduce policy risks; strengthen confidence, create a fulcrum for recovery and improve business resilience. Strive to achieve targets according to Plan No. 243/KH-UBND dated September 21, 2023 on improving the competitiveness index.Competition (PCI) 2023 - 2024 of the city to improve the business environment, maintain the city's PCI ranking position in the group of 10 leading provinces and cities in the country and in the group of localities with good economic management quality. At the same time, strive to increase the number of businesses entering the market (newly established and returning to operation) in 2024 by at least 5% compared to 2023; The number of businesses withdrawing from the market in 2024 will increase by less than 10% compared to 2023./.
