FLC Group proposes investment in 6 projects
On the afternoon of March 8, in Quang Ninh, the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Party Committee worked with FLC Group on plans to deploy investment in a number of projects in Hai Phong city; Bamboo Airways (member of FLC Group) opens a number of domestic and international routes at Cat Bi International Airport, Hai Phong.

At the meeting, FLC Group leaders presented a map of the location of FLC Group's investment projects in the city, including 5 projects: Do Son luxury resort, service and ecological villa complex project; Urban complex and ecological resort project in Hai An district; New urban area project in Tan Thanh ward; High-end commercial, service and housing complex project at 4 Tran Phu (70-storey tower); Project at youth cultural house area 45 Lach Tray; FAM-Hai Phong high-tech agricultural application project.
Regarding routes Bamboo Airways is currently operating 14 domestic routes with 1,367 flights and 138,850 passengers. In 2019, the Group will open 40 more domestic and international routes; Of which, from Hai Phong, 4 domestic routes will be opened to Da Nang city, Quy Nhon, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc; 4 international routes to Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Siem Reap.
At the meeting, FLC Group proposed that Hai Phong direct to speed up the implementation progress of adjusting the general planning of Hai Phong city as a basis for implementing the next steps of the FLC Do Son luxury resort, service and eco-villa complex project; Direct relevant agencies to coordinate with the Group to update plans and ideas in the general planning project of Hai Phong city as a basis for project implementation in the near future.
For new proposed projects, the Group requests that Hai Phong agree to the Group's policy to conduct research and propose investment in new projects; At the same time, direct relevant agencies to implement necessary procedures to serve as a basis for implementing the next steps.
For the plan to open flight routes to Cat Bi airport, the Group requested Hai Phong to send a document to the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam approving the opening of some of the airline's flight routes to Cat Bi airport...
Speaking at the meeting, leader of the City Party Committee. Hai Phong said that Hai Phong always creates the most favorable conditions to attract investors. FLC Group is an expected city investor with great potential.
In the coming time, Hai Phong will focus on related work of FLC Group, monthly will hear about the Group's related work content and will create the most favorable environment for businesses to deploy.
“For opening new routes from Hai Phong, assign the City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to soon advise on documents for the city to send to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to open 8 more flights from Hai Phong; at the same time, request the Group to research to open more flights to Can Tho city. Also on the afternoon of March 8 at the Hai Phong City Convention Center, Leaders of the City People's Committee, Hai Phong had a reception and working session with Pacific Construction Group (China).
Pacific Construction Group (Pacific Construction Group) is the world's largest private enterprise in investment and infrastructure construction, with 2018 revenue reaching 77 billion USD and a total number of workers of over 360 thousand people. Some typical projects of the Group such as the Beijing - Shanghai, Beijing - Hong Kong, Jiangsu - Xinjiang expressways...; bridge across the Yangtze River, the subway system in Nanjing and many key urban areas in Chinese localities. The delegation led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, Founder of the Group, visited and worked in Vietnam from March 6-9 to promote investment cooperation and infrastructure construction in Vietnam.
At the meeting, leaders of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City welcomed the visit of Pacific Construction Group, and quickly informed the Group about the socio-economic development situation of Hai Phong in recent years.
With the advantages of geographical location, transportation system, inter-regional connection and preferential policies to attract investment, Hai Phong is currently considered one of the localities with the best appeal to domestic and foreign investors. Besides the advantages, Hai Phong city continues to receive approval from the Vietnamese Government to invest in developing traffic and infrastructure to meet future economic growth.
At the meeting, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, founder of Pacific Group, expressed his desire to invest in Vietnam and Hai Phong city in projects that are still open to PPP investment forms as well as promote cooperation in the field of planning, contributing to promoting the economy and further concretizing the bilateral cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China.
On this occasion, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa sent an invitation to leaders of Hai Phong city to visit and survey the Group so that the two sides can have a more detailed plan in researching investment and developing the city in a modern direction.
