(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of November 30, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung led a delegation to work with leaders of Hai Phong city on implementing state budget and financial tasks in 2020; 2021 budget financial plan; situation of preventing smuggling and trade fraud in the city.

Reporting at the conference, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung said: In 2020, implementing the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Finance, the City Party Committee, the People's HD, the City People's Committee mobilized and flexibly used financial resources and solutions - the state budget to stabilize the macroeconomy, create favorable conditions for production and business development, and promote growth; ensure social security, improve the material and spiritual life of the people; ensure national defense, security and social order and safety.

Specifically, in 2020, the central government assigned a state budget revenue estimate to Hai Phong of VND 90,218 billion. By the end of November, total state budget revenue was estimated at 68,964 billion VND, equal to 76.4% of the central estimate assigned. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 22,478 billion VND, equal to 72.8% of the central estimate; Revenue from import and export activities is estimated at 43,100 billion VND, equal to 75.5% of the estimate assigned by the central government. Hai Phong strives that in 2020, total budget revenue in the area will reach 84,199 billion VND (of which revenue from import-export activities is 50,000 billion VND, domestic revenue is 30,000 billion VND, approximately reaching the central estimate).

Also by the end of November, total local budget expenditure reached 18,752 billion VND, equal to 76.9% of the central estimate assigned. Of which, development investment expenditure is estimated at 8,358 billion VND, and regular expenditure is estimated at 9,292 billion VND. The city strives for total budget expenditure in 2020 to be 28,428 billion VND.
