The project of a complex of commercial centers, entertainment centers, 5-star hotels and offices for rent to beautify the urban area in the Iron Market area is built on a land area of 15,200m²; located in Phan Boi Chau ward, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city. The project location is on Quang Trung street, next to Tam Bac river, the iconic river of Hai Phong city.
The specific project scale is as follows: Maximum building height: 146m, calculated from 0.00 level (equivalent to 40 floors, including 02 basements). Base block construction density 46.05%; Tower block construction density is 40%. The remaining area is the campus, landscape, trees and other amenities. Total investment for the project is expected: 6,060 billion VND. Project implementation time: 36 months from the date the Investor decides to lease the land.
The Iron Market Trade Center is located in a prime location right next to the Tam Bac River and on Quang Trung street, which has an important role and significance. By 1992, after the market fire incident (in 1985), the new Iron Market was started to be built into a commercial and service center with a construction scale of six floors (ground area of more than 13,000m², usable area of nearly 40,000m²) with an expected investment capital of about 10 million USD. The spontaneously developing market area will be newly built, spacious with more than 2,000 stalls, the upper three floors will be turned into hotels, restaurants, dance halls and office areas...
However, since its construction until now, the operation of the Iron Market Trade Center has been ineffective, the built works have degraded, and the Investor has not completed the works according to the approved Project.
