Currently, in industrial parks and economic zones in the city, there are 56/727 non-state enterprises with Party organizations (accounting for 7.5%) with a total number of party members of 789 (accounting for 77% of the total number of party members in the entire Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee). The block of Party-organized enterprises in Hai Phong Industrial Zones and Economic Zones includes many large enterprises/projects, with a total registered capital of more than 10.2 billion USD (accounting for more than 42% of the total registered capital of enterprises in Industrial Zones and Economic Zones), the average annual export proportion is approximately 40% of exports of the entire Industrial Zone and Economic Zone, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development targets of the Industrial Zones and the city in particular. common.
The total number of workers working at Party-organized enterprises is 99,570 (equal to 50.85% of the number of workers in industrial parks and economic zones), of which: female workers are 59,356 people, male workers are 40,214 people, and workers who are managers and high-level technical professionals are 10,317 people (approximately 50% of the total number of workers in industrial parks and economic zones). In recent years (2021 - 2023), this group of businesses has had stable production and business activities, import-export value has always remained high (over 10 billion USD), contributing to creating jobs and stable income for nearly 100,000 workers.
