On the morning of March 8, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Binh on-site inspected the implementation status of the Binh Cau South Traffic Intersection Construction Investment Project. Accompanied by representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.
According to the report of the Department of Transport, the investment project to build the Southern Bridge Binh intersection implemented in An Duong district and Hong Bang district needs to clear 126 organizations, households and individuals with a corresponding area of 116,698.91m2; Up to now, localities have handed over 34,200.63 square meters of space (reaching 29.31%). Regarding construction work, up to this point the contractor has constructed underground tunnels and branch overpasses with a total accumulated volume of about 18%.
In order for the project to be completed according to the proposed schedule, the Department of Transport recommends that the City People's Committee direct Hong Bang and An Duong districts to continue to speed up site clearance work, completely resolve petitions from households and organizations; Quickly approve compensation and support plans, make payments and hand over the site to the construction contractor...
Inspecting the field at the scene, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Binh acknowledged that the Department of Transport, the Project Management Board, Hong Bang District and the contractor have made a lot of efforts in recent times in site clearance and implementing construction measures. However, the current problem is still site clearance work, so the Vice Chairman requested Hong Bang district, based on the direction of the City People's Committee, to actively do a good job of propaganda and advocacy, convincing people to soon hand over the site for the project; As for An Duong district, for households that have signed site handover records, the district proactively organizes construction protection measures.
Regarding the organization of traffic regulation in the project construction area, the Permanent Vice Chairman requested units and functional forces to coordinate closely, regulate traffic in the safest and most convenient way, and at the same time propagate and guide people to know and comply with lane and traffic separation for construction work. The Vice Chairman also noted that based on reality, if the traffic situation in the area becomes complicated, relevant functional branches and units will proactively coordinate to make adjustments.
The Vice Chairman also emphasized that this is an important intersection associated with the city's urban beautification policy. During the construction process, there will inevitably be inadequacies, so we hope that people will support and accompany the city.
The Vice Chairman assigned the Office of the City People's Committee to review and urge relevant departments and branches to carry out the tasks of the City People's Committee in accordance with regulations and time so that the project can be completed according to the set schedule.
